Basics in Programming for MMT

ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the restriction to inhibit the spread of COVID-19, we will offer the "Basics in Programming for MMT" course as an online course with extensive opportunities for personal feedback in video chats.
The course will still take place in the week starting on the 14th April, though it may be extended for one day (exam on 19th April). The certificates granting the credits for the application will be handed out in time for the MMT application deadline. We will let you know as soon as we have an updated schedule and details on the online course

The Master's program "Media, Management and Digital Technologies" (MMT) deals with entrepreneurial questions related to the management and application of digital technologies in the context of the media and Internet industry. It is a consecutive four-semester Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree program that is fully taught in English and jointly offered by the Munich School of Management and the Institute for Informatics, both at LMU Munich.
The course ‚Basics in Programming for MMT‘ provides participants with a foundation in object oriented programming in preparation of an application to the M.Sc. in Media, Management and Digital Technologies (MMT) at LMU Munich.
The aims of this course are threefold:
- Teach basic knowledge in object-oriented programming
- Foster the application of this knowledge in an own project
- Prepare participants for an application to the Master’s program in Media, Management and Digital Technologies
(successful course completion is acknowledged with an equivalent of 6 ECTS in informatics for the MMT application)
